ENGSTROM/KEYNOTE SPEAKING
Here is a
brief overview of Dr. Engstrom's education, training and
experience.
David Engstrom, Ph.D., ABPP,
FACP

Dr. Engstrom was
born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. He received his
bachelor's degree from The George Washington University, with
Special Honors in Psychology. He earned his Ph.D. in Clinical
Psychology at the University of Southern California, serving
his Internship at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center. He is
a licensed Psychologist in both Arizona and California. Dr.
Engstrom has been in private practice for over 25 years,
specializing in motivational solutions for patients who have
difficulty with insomnia, are overweight, have addiction
problems, suffer from chronic pain or have chronic illness.
His primary focus is helping patients to develop lasting
motivation to promote healthy lifestyles such as physical
exercise, stress management and healthy eating
behaviors.

Family: Dr. Engstrom is
married, with three adult children and two grandchildren
(so far!!)
Interests:
An avid fly fisherman (who never gets enough time on rivers)
and photographer (who never gets enough time in the desert),
Dr. Engstrom also enjoys listening to jazz, collecting coins
and Native American pottery, hiking, jogging and trying to get
better at Tai Chi.
Dr. David Engstrom is an
